In the late 1980's, I was working on several TV pilot projects and specials for broadcast networks. One of them was the Moscow Comedy Club Specials Show, a spin-off of the main KVN Show developed for a local TV affiliate in Moscow. On the creative level, it was an attempt to expand the show capabilities limited to the restraints of the national network. The specials included comedy performers from all over the country and, overall, served as a preview and monitoring of the new materials for the national TV show. |
