Do you know the Where In the World Carmen San Diego Show on PBS? Well, at that time, we didn't. Looking back, I see a lot of similarities between two shows in their format.

Ecological Boomerang was our attempt to make an entertainment game show for high school students. The format included contests in such fields as geography, biology, physics, political sciences, etc. The show was created by Alexander Akopov and Sergei Pekhletski who asked me to host the show.

It was my last TV show in Russia before I moved to the USA and I remember it as being a great fun to work with the kids on the set and a terrific creative team behind the scenes. To my best knowledge, the show later on led to the new Magnificent Seven game show that was broadcast on Russian TV in the 1990's.
