The Summit in 1974

ABOUT THE TOP 100 PLAYERS
OF THE 20th CENTURY

Based on the studies of the Total Hockey, The NHL Guide and Record Book, the HHOF members, All-Star Teams and top trophy winners, the authors compiled a list that reflects all the game's eras - from the pre-NHL years, to the Original Six, to today's worldwide game.

The list also included the best international players who never had a chance to play in the NHL of their times.

Although Team Canada 1974 was not represented by the NHL, most of its players either played in the NHL besides the 1972-79 WHA seasons.
