PERFORMANCE IN THE 1972 SUMMIT

Although with his 19 goals against (4.75 average) in four games, Ken Dryden arguably can't be claimed to be the best overall goaltender of the Series, he demonstrated a spectacular performance for Team Canada in the last Game 8 in Moscow. Ken Dryden was Team Canada's goalie # 1 on the roster and, after a bumpy start in Montreal, he was able to improve his performance almost to the level of the game that made him one of the best NHL goalies.
