Commentary: One of the best hockey goaltenders
of the 20th century, Vladislav
Tretiak played in many top level international
tournaments. His fantastic career results include
2.33 GAA in 618 games for Team USSR and Red Army
Club in 1969-1984. Although, Tretiak was only 20
at the time of the 1972 Summit, Game
1 in Montreal on September 2, 1972, is considered
the best game by Tretiak ever.
