One of the best elite goalies in the world hockey history. One of the living legends of Czech hockey. Was exceptinally reliable, well prepared mentally and technically for any game he had to play.
Czechoslovakian Elite League: Poldi Kladno ('64-'65), Sparta Prague ('65-'69, '71-'76), Dukla Jihlava ('69-'71), Motor Ceske Budejovice ('76-'79), League Gold '67, '69-'72 and '74, played 488 games. European Leagues: EHC Munich 70 (Germany, '78-'80), EHC Essen (Germany, '80-'81). National team: WC '66,'67, '71-'78; Olympics '72, '76; WC Gold '72, '76, 77; played 164 games for Czechoslovakia.

BednarVladimir Bednar, Defense
b. 10.01.1946, Beroun, Czechoslovakia.
Solid defensive defenceman. Serious eye injury ended his career and stopped him from playing more for the national team.
Czechoslovakian Elite League: Skoda Plzen ('66-'67, '69-'82), Dukla Jihlava ('67-'69); League Gold '68, '69; scored 19 goals in 407 games. National team: WC '69, '70, '72; Olympics '72, WC Gold '72, scored 3 goals in 65 games for Czechoslovakia.

BublaJiri Bubla, Defense
b. 01.27.1950, Usti nad Labem, Czechoslovakia.
One of the toughest blueliners of his time, was a good skater. Played exceptinally well offensively, famous for his powerful shot.
Czechoslovakian Elite League: Chemopetrol Litvinov ('68-'69, '71-'79), Dukla Jihlava ('69-'71), Sparta Prague ('79-'81); League Gold '70, '71, scored 93 goals in 470 games. NHL: Played for Vancouver Canucks ('81-'86); 17 goals in 262 games, including the playoffs. National team: WC '71-'79; Olympics '72, '76; WC Gold '72, '76, 77; Canada Cup '76; scored 37 goals in 230 games for Czechoslovakia.

Josef Horesovsky, Defense
b. 07.18.1946, Hvlicko Brod, Czechoslovakia.
One of the strongest defensemen in Czeckosovakian hockey. Was a physical player, a hard-hitter with a wickedly strong shot on goal.

MachacOldrich Machac, Defense
b. 04.18.1944, Prostejov, Czechoslovakia
By many accounts, one of the most reliable European defense players ever, extremely solid blueliner. Paired with Pospisil for the most of his career in the national team.

European Leagues: SB Rosenheim (Germany, '78-'82), League Gold 1982. Milan Kuzela, Defense
b. 04.27.1946, Czechoslovakia.
Agressive blueliner, tough bodychecker.
Czechoslovakian Elite League: Slovan Bratislava ('64-'80, '81-'82), Lokomotiv Zvolen ('80-'81); League Gold '79, scored 62 goals in 532 games. National team: WC '72-'74, '79; scored 5 goals in 86 games for Czechoslovakia.

PospisilFrantisek Pospisil, Defense
b 04.02.1944 in Unhost, Czechoslovakia
One of the best European defense players ever. Exceptionally strong player, great bodychecker but always performed it clean and within the rules.
Czechoslovakian Elite League: Poldi Kladno ('61-'78), League Gold '75-'78, scored 134 goals in 622 games. European Leagues: EV Landshut (Germany, '78-'79). National team: WC '67-'77; Olympics '72, '76; WC Gold '72, '76, 77; Canada Cup '76; scored 25 goals in 262 games for Czechoslovakia. Coached Poldi Kladno ('79-'83), Litvinov ('83-'85), served as an assistant coach of the Czechoslovakian National team together with head coach Dr. Jan Starsi ('86-'88).
