One of the living legends of Czech hockey. Was exceptinally
reliable, well prepared mentally and technically for any
game he had to play.

Bednar, Defense
b. 10.01.1946, Beroun, Czechoslovakia.
Solid defensive defenceman. Serious eye injury ended his
career and stopped him from playing more for the national
team.

One of the toughest blueliners of his time, was a good
skater. Played exceptinally well offensively, famous for
his powerful shot.

One of the strongest defensemen in Czeckosovakian hockey.
Was a physical player, a hard-hitter with a wickedly strong
shot on goal.

for the most of his career in the national team.

Frantisek
Pospisil, Defense
b 04.02.1944 in Unhost, Czechoslovakia
One of the best European defense players ever. Exceptionally
strong player, great bodychecker but always performed
it clean and within the rules.
