About the Book

Author Susie Stone was the child who stood quietly in corners and listened. She observed. She watched people and remembered the events - what was said, what she saw.

As she grew up, she remembered those incidents, happenings, and stories; and she loved to share them with friends and students. Over the years, when people heard her stories, they always wanted to hear more and often told her she should write a book with her stories.

After many years of listening to people tell her to write, she wrote this book about the start of her life in a little town in Monett, Missouri. She has written about her parents, her hometown, and people she knew, and incidents she observed. The book is filled with her love for this little town and all the people she knew.

She is happy to now share those stories with each of her readers in Home Again, Home Again, Jiggity, Jig.
